• Summer Research Opportunity Program in Pathology (SROPP)
The American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) has teamed up with FASEB Minority Access for Research Careers (MARC) to provide summer research opportunities in pathology for underrepresented minority students by providing financial support for students to visit, learn, and participate in new research in the mechanisms of disease at prominent research laboratories and institutions during the summer in 2008.Â Click Here for more information.
• Minority Trainee Travel Awards to attend the ASIP Annual Meetings
The FASEB Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program has awarded ASIP funding to promote the entry of under-represented minority scientists and minority-serving institutions into the mainstream of the basic science community and to encourage the participation of young investigative pathologists at the Annual Meeting.
This website is committed to increasing the number of minorities entering science careers and to celebrating contributions to science by minority scientists. The JGH portal provides a supportive environment that encourages underrepresented minorities to pursue science careers.
